Keeping Your Hearing Aids Dry

The patented Dry & Store conditioning system was first introduced in 1997. That premier model, designed for in-home use and ease-of-use is now called Dry & Store Professional. In 2002, Dry & Store Global was launched in response to requests for a more portable model, one that is easily adaptable for international use, and that would accommodate all types of cochlear implant equipment.

These appliances incorporate Dry & Store's renowned drying technology - warm moving air and a desiccant. The Professional and Global models are the only drying appliances on the market that also provide a sanitizing benefit.

Each model has distinct advantages for different lifestyles, physical abilities, and preferences.  Following are details of each product.

Dry & Store Professional ($165)

  • Easy-to-use drawer and one button operation.
  • Partitioned drying compartment keeps two sets of hearing aids separate (especially helpful for families with more than one hearing aid user).
  • Accommodates up to four In-the-Ear or Behind-the-Ear hearing aids or Cochlear Implant processors.
  • Ergonomic design provides ease of use for persons with arthritis, stiff joints,  or other dexterity limitations.
  • No grasping skills necessary due to the easy-open drawer and  smooth, curved interior.
  • Two year warranty; Made in America.

Dry & Store Global ($115)

  • One button operation, hinged lid.
  • Single drying compartment accommodates up to two ear-level cochlear implant processors or four hearing aids or one body-worn processor.
  • Lightweight and portable for travel.
  • The AC adapter with the Dry & Store® Global can be used anywhere in the world - no voltage converter necessary.* All that's needed is the appropriate plug adapter, or you can travel "adapter-free" by ordering individual power supplies with native plugs.  Ships with the AC adapter and plug appropriate to the purchaser's country of origin.
  • Will also work with an inverter for 12V service.
  • Works with either the Dry-Brik desiccant or a rechargeable can-type desiccant.
  • Due to hinged lid and tray configuration, this model is a bit more difficult to use by a person with stiff joints, arthritis, or manual dexterity limitation.
  • One year warranty; Made in Thailand.

Dry-Brik® Desiccant (3 for $10.00)

  • Formulated for super-high efficiency.
